Historic House Walk & Preservation Seminar in Glen Ellyn

For our west suburban Chicago readers, there is a great weekend event coming up on Saturday, September 22, 2007. It is the 5th Annual Historic House Walk & Preservation Seminar in downtown Glen Ellyn.

The day will begin with a seminar, Main Street™: How to Revitalize Downtown Glen Ellyn, from 10:00 am - 11:30 am at Ben Franklin School, featuring Nick Kalogeresis of the National Trust Main Street Center. Nick will be sharing some of the secrets of the Main Street™ Program that have been used to revitalize historic downtowns all over the country.

Tickets are available online here or by calling 630.545.1587. They will also be available the day of the walk between 9:30 am and Noon at Ben Franklin School, 350 Bryant Avenue, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.
