I had a chance to check out the The 14th Annual World's Fair Memorabilia Show last weekend. It was amazing to see all of this really cool stuff in one place from the 1933 Century of Progress Exposition and the 1893 Columbian Exposition (both originally held in Chicago). Being the total design-nerd that I am, I was especially drawn to the different graphic and type treatments for many of the booklets and posters for the 1933 Fair. I thought I'd share a couple of the really cool looking booklets I picked up at the show--check them out after the jump...
I found three examples of souvenir booklets that had very similar content, but different graphic and type treatments on their covers.
I'm totally digging the Art Deco/Streamline groove going on in these designs. If anyone has any similar pieces of collectible World's Fair art they'd like to share with everyone, send us some pics--we'd love to feature them!
